As part of the subtle bodies series, Paul Pescador will hire an actor to sit on a bench in the Norton Simon museum from the time the museum opens till it closes. The actor will sit quietly and stare at the painting in front of them and will not get up from his/her seat unless to use the restroom or quickly eat. By forcing someone to sit with an art object for an extended period of time, The Viewer attempts to understand the relationship the viewer can have with an artwork.
