Los Angeles, CA, August 20, 2007 - For those of you who missed the great duo of Josie Roth and Leticia Castenada, you really missed something that makes us proud we have this series: the music was tranformative. That is true also of Vinny Golia's last appearance here, and nearly everyone else. When masters show up at your door and give you amazing performances, you feel really blessed. That's what you're missing here. All the goodies of life are here right in your backyard.
The evening of Friday, August 31, 2007, starting at 8:00 p.m., we will present halfmonk http://www.virb.com/halfmonk AKA ge stinson http://codedsource.com (laptop pulses, frequencies, x tech gtR), Devin Sarno www.devinsarno.com (low end sound art), Jen Hung (vocals), and B.K. Bynum (video).
The afternoon of Sunday, September 2, 2007, starting at 4:00 p.m., we will have Ben Owen http://benowen.org (Brooklyn), Gil Aubrey http://www.soundimplant.com/gilaubry (Berlin), Jacob Felix Huele http://ettrick.org and Ezra Buchla http://www.myspace.com/ezrabuchla (Oakland), and Dirty Modelz (LA: David Rothbaum http://www.davidrothbaum.com and Albert Ortega http://resontropic.com).
As always, beverages will be served, and most of the times, a great art show will be up.
We're located two miles from Chinatown, at 1020 East Fourth Place, between Molino and Mateo Streets, in the back of the 500 Molino Street Lofts, #102, between the Fourth Street Bridge's (on the LA River side of Downtown) two on/off ramps. See our website http://dangerouscurve.org for directions, pictures, and updates.

Dangerous Curve is a leading contemporary art space in the Arts District of Los Angeles. It is a privately run venue for live art/visual art performance, experimental art and music, and installations. The gallery supports visionary established and emerging artists of all ages, with live art residencies and one-person shows of high-quality, risky and intelligent work that's ahead of the curve.
A huge thank you to our supporters, The Dale and Edna Walsh Foundation, Kate Bartolo of The Kor Group, and others listed on our sponsor page. Because of their and your generous support, Dangerous Curve is able to make a difference by helping emerging artists and educating the community about high-quality art.
