john lely's symphony in e + general impression piece

Exciting news!
Two recordings have just been posted from this Summer's Dog Star Orchestra 6, from a concert at Wolfgang von Schweinitz's home in Gorman (about an hour north of Valencia) on 6 June 2010:
- symphony in e (24:17), John Lely
- general impression piece (17:12), Adam Overton (of Lely's symphony in e)
performed by Matt Barbier, Joaquin Gallegos, James Klopfleisch, Emma Nilsson, Adam Overton, and Mark So
The story:
Half of the orchestra performed John's wonderful piece. Meanwhile the other half of us sat in the audience and listened intently... Afterwards this other group spent about 20-30 minutes trying to figure out the internal logic of John's piece based on our general impression of it, without looking at or asking anyone about his score, and then tried to "re-perform" it.
