Maker Faire Performances

While in San Francisco, I ran into Mark Allen of Machine Project and realized he would be hosting a booth at the Make Magazine's Maker Faire 2007 in San Mateo that weekend. I had already written a pamphlet of invisible performances for Machine Project to be performed at the ArtLA Fair in Santa Monica in January '06, and he "commissioned" me at the last minute to maybe try and write some up to hand out the Maker Faire attendees.

 

     download, print out and read/perform the Maker Faire Performances !!

 

(it's two pages - to make your own pamphlet at home, print it out two-sided, and then fold down the middle)

 

About the 80-85% of the pieces were "made" on-location at the Maker Faire, and then printed up using a trusty Machine Project booth laser printer, and folded using trusty Machine Project intern hands.

 

Oh, and just about every performance uses the word "make" in either the title or the text!
