An intermedia performance of dance and sound that premiered June 7, 2002 at NoNo in Atlanta, featuring dancers Blake Beckham and Camille Dieterle, and sound designers Adam Overton and Christopher White.

 

We used contact mics on the wooden dance platform to pick up the sounds of the dancers as they scratched, tapped and moved around. Those sounds were then transformed in various ways to complement the movement of the dancers. Portions of the dancers movements were later used to develop Blake Beckham's Pocket/Change, which premiered in November 2002.
