Dear Ones,

 

Join us. Soon they will attempt to diminish the great and fearsome power of Love by encircling it with cherubs, soiling its story in greeting cards at CVS, branding its name on toxic candies, festooning its tail with heart-shaped balloons like children might do to a stray dog.

 

But like the earth, Love shall remain, impervious, immortal, beyond our comprehension. We don't know what Love is, but we can still harness its magic.

 

The awesome power of Love can pull you under the surface of life until you fear that you might drown - or wish that you would.

 

And yet secretly, those with any life in our hearts, pray nightly that we feel even the faintest cool of Love's shadow fall across our lives. We pray for it to enter, find equilibrium, sing in peace, become the source of all our energy.

 

At Happening Magic: Love Spells, we will find a way to make love stay.

 

Happening Magic 2: Love Spells

2 is the magic number.

 

When:
Sunday February 13, 2011 2-5pm

 

Where:
The Experimental Meditation Center of Los Angeles

 

Why:
To call Love in, give it the honor it deserves, anoint ourselves as its ambassadors and its diving rods. And to call in a lover, fuck yeah!

 

Who:
Anyone who wants a lover,
anyone willing and brave,
anyone who wants to call Love into our world,
their life, their friends' lives, or all of the above,
anyone who is proud to align themselves with Love,
anyone worthy of  Love.

 

What to do:
Space is limited. Email me your RSVP. Magic Spells will be involved. You will need to bring ingredients. I will email you with further instructions.
