The Mystery Project: Happening Magic

Come get into the spirit of Halloween with us, the Mystery Project, this Sunday from 3-6pm. At the Experimental Meditation Center of Los Angeles we are holding a banishing and welcoming ceremony: a participatory spell/ceremony/happening where we will banish annoying spirits and call in helpful ones.
It's like this:
Then we will be calling in a new spirit, a helping spirit. Think health, vitality, a well-paying job, a book deal, a new abode, world peace, again the sky is the limit but the more specific you are, the more powerful the spell will be. There will be five altars, and we will make fetish dolls containing each of the elements. Anyway, you will get more particulars later, but in the meantime be thinking of things you want to call and banish. Also be prepared to chant, make magic art, call in the elements, and lots of other heathen stuff.
This will be a three hour event starting in the early afternoon on Halloween - you will totally have enough time to get dressed up and go out (and bring your good spirit with you, they love parties!). The only thing is that because we will be casting a circle there can't be late entries or early exits, so come a little early and be prepared to stay for the whole event.
Space is limited to 20 people though, so you should rsvp as soon as you can. When you RSVP, I will give you further information for the magical materials you need to bring (you should have most of them around your house) and the exact location of the event.

Necessary Items:Bells (or other instruments) seeds, crystals, bowls, two-tiered altars (one tier for permanent items, one tier for takeable items), images of fethishes/charms for inspiration, salt, cloth or material that you dont mind cutting up, scissors, matches, pencils and paper, jackolanterns
AltarsNorth: Earth, the physical plane, the real, the body, money, the physical world, the root, coins, earth magic, gnomes, suit of diamonds, parenthood, nature, green, brown, practicality, circles, crystals, salt, discs, earth signs. Bring earth from or near your house, anything that you feel associates with the earth or the North to put on the altar.
East: Air, mental activity, the powers of the mind, sky, transcendence, bold intellect, yellow, gold, sylphs, wealth and status, intellectuals, scientists, the sun, yellow-green, suit of spades, stones with holes in them, swords, knives, clarity, breath, smoke, feathers, air signs.
South: Fire, energy, wands (sticks, batons, clubs, scepters, torches, prayer sticks), wands symbolize power and authority, athletes, warriors, urgency and action, the life of the spirit, the life force, life and warmth, suit of clubs, creativity, Shakti, the libido, red, snakes, salamanders, matches and candles, fire signs.
West: Water, receptivity, cauldrons, vessels, feelings, emotions, desires, unconscious dreams and visions, undines, freedom and the outlaw, the moon, the astral plane, inside, the womb, suit of hearts, blue, blue-green, pleasure, ecstasy, flow, love, water signs.
Center: Crystals, magical items, candles, sacred things.

In the circle rightly cast
