Join us for a discussion on being an artist-citizen in a time of melancholia, misrepresentation, and a [seemingly] endless, faraway war. Among and within ourselves we've witnessed a strange blend of activism and apatheticism, hope and disenchantedness, as we look inward and outward and everywhere inbetween in search of the power to elicit change. While some of us have embraced the call to action, others now view with an air of suspicion any calls to participate in any more grand schemes, and still others are busy fighting an inner war against the forces of helplessness. What are we each doing to cope? Can we effect change from within? Where do we go from here? (Where is 'here'? And who are 'we'?) What effect do we, and can we, have on the world and on each other? So what do we do now?
